Master Oh

HQ Head Master

To be the best of the best — whatever your personal goal may be

Born on January 14th, 1971 in Pusan, South Korea, Master Oh's journey began at age 5 when his father — a retired Master Sergeant who served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars — enrolled him in Taekwondo. After initially resisting, a life experience led his father to enroll him in Sip Pal Ki (traditional Korean military martial arts), where he trained under Master Young Soo Park and earned his 2nd Degree Black Belt by 6th grade.

As a teen, Master Oh dove deep into martial arts and began competing. In 1992, he won 1st place in Form, Spear, and 75kg Sparring at the National Kung Fu Competition in Seoul, and was selected for the Wu Shu Asian Games International Team Trial. After completing military service, he joined the Korea Professional Taekwondo Federation as a Master.

From 1997 to 1999, Master Oh demonstrated and taught at West Point, the 707th Special Forces, the Presidential Bodyguard Camp, and the Green Berets in Korea. In 1997, he represented the International Team at the World Professional Taekwondo Championship. In 2000, he came to America to continue sharing his passion for martial arts, ultimately founding Mu Han Total Martial Arts.
